For example, the following figure shows that after the full mechanical design and modeling of a car in the software\u2019s modeling environments, the car is modeled separately and the performance of the engine, and brakes, dynamic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, electrical equipment, and all the parameters that affect its design are evaluated, or an elevator\u2019s movement and behavior can be fully simulated after modeling and the performance of its electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems can be observed concurrently and continuously with no difference from the actual behavior.<\/p>

Mechanical Modules<\/strong>
The key priorities of this module are shortening the design to production cycle and improving efficiency. This part of the software is a very flexible environment for online cooperation and concurrent engineering along with excellent change management functionality in interrelated designs, and it effectively defines and engineers any 3D part and assembly from the simplest to the most complex. Catia.V6 uses three main principles, namely concept design, precision design, and manufacturing preparation to make the 3D design much more efficient than before for organizations and normal users.<\/p>

This module is the most powerful instrument for designing class A surfaces in various industries for complex and hybrid modeling, and is much more capable than version 5. These tools are provided to users to model and design surfaces that cannot be described in shape and form as specific geometric shapes (rectangle, sphere, cylinder) and representations of rigid models (The shape of a car or airplane is important due to its aerodynamic properties, while the shape of a computer mouse affects its aesthetics as well as ergonomic design).<\/p>

The shape module provides industrial designers and mechanical engineers a full set of instruments to easily design class A surfaces and advanced rendering of various equipment, reverse engineering, and various visual methods for creating, modifying, and validating any problems. It also facilitates transfers and cooperation between the design and engineering departments. Class A surfaces have many unique parameters which distinguish them from other surfaces and give the final product certain characteristics, including the following:<\/p>

When the designer obtains a logical explanation of the system and is assured of compatibility with product specifications and its tracking and configuration management capabilities, the module integrates and coordinates scientific rules for compatibility with standards during the design and documentation process for production.<\/p>
